Youth Villages has announced its Lived Experience Impact Grant recipients for 2024. These grants support organizations led by individuals with lived experience in child welfare systems who are improving outcomes for transition-age young people through programming, advocacy and systems reform.
Youth Villages today announced it is the recipient of a large donation from the Joey Logano Foundation to support young adults who age out of foster care and are now pursuing higher education.
The Title IV-E Prevention Services Clearinghouse announced that the Youth Villages Intercept program model is rated as “supported” after two studies from the Center for State Childhood Data at Chapin Hall showed the program had positive impacts on the use of foster care.
Youth Villages recently received a $30,000 grant from the Evergreen Foundation in Waynesville. The contribution will support Youth Villages’ LifeSet™ program, which supports young people ages 17-22 who are aging out of foster care.
